Overview and Scope

"Project Management is the Art and Science of Converting Vision into Reality”

Project-based management is becoming the new general management in the contemporary business world since nearly all managers are involved in projects. It is, therefore, essential for any manager and professional to be aware of the principles of “good” project management. The crucial question that this seminar will address is: “What steps must a manager follow to successfully plan his/her project in order to achieve the project’s objectives at a minimum cost?”

The seminar will expose participants to a systematic approach in planning projects. This approach applies to both major and smaller projects, whether the final deliverable is a tangible product or an intangible service. The ultimate goal of the seminar is to provide participants the tools to plan their projects and draft the project manual of the project. Participants will be shown a number of real project manuals, to have a benchmark of what constitutes “good” project plan. In addition, a practical exercise will assist participants use and comprehend the project planning tools.
